Established in 2004, A Great Smile Dental is a family dental practice specializing in general and cosmetic dentistry. Our founder, Dr. Ben Yaghmai, graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1997 and completed a year of advanced study in comprehensive dental care at the University of California, San Francisco. He is joined by Dr. Brian J. Polidori, a second-generation dentist with over 33 years of experience and a Fellowship in surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry. Together with our hygienists, assistants and front-office team, they care for patients of every age, from a child’s first checkup to full mouth reconstruction.

Our Philosophy

We approach dentistry with joy, compassion and respect, and we consider it a privilege to serve you. That means listening first, explaining what we see in plain language and giving you options rather than pressure. Because many of our patients have been with us for years — often several generations of the same family — we know your history and can plan care around it. Our goal is simple: to help every patient achieve a healthy smile and keep it for life.

Technology and Comfort

We use current dental technology to make diagnosis more accurate and treatment more comfortable, including digital X-rays, CT scans and 3D imaging, laser dentistry, metal-free crowns and tooth-colored fillings. Our naturally lit waiting and treatment areas are designed for relaxation, with television, soothing music and air filtration throughout the office.

Safety and Accreditations

We follow the sterilization and infection-control guidelines of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Single-use items such as gloves, masks, needles and protective barriers are used once and discarded, and every reusable instrument is cleaned and autoclave-sterilized after each use. Dr. Ben is a member of the ADA, the Nevada Dental Association (NDA) and the Southern Nevada Dental Society (SNDS), our practice is a BBB Accredited Business, and we are a Gold Plus Invisalign provider.
